Well our adventure was fantastic, great time, alot of meeting good friends. We learned alot about travelling, eating and relaxing. We realize that we missed of course our families, Tim Hortons, and baths (we did have showers) but not necessarily in that order. The house is really quite big compared to the motor home and I can hardly wait for the snow to melt to work in the garden because in Florida it was spring and the flowers were everywhere. Since Kyle has the bird we will get to pick him up on Friday when we head to Waterloo to see everyone even my dear sister (the cripple) that has the broken leg. Jenna and Brad won't be there because she has to work but news is she is going to college in the fall and that was one surprise in Florida when she told me...I'm very happy about that. Well back to reality since work has to be done that includes laundry and lots of it.

Well we have learned a few things on our adventure to Florida:
1.When sitting at a campfire always make sure that your feet stay planted on the ground…ask Louise.
2. Always take the jeep first to the site you are going on to make sure you like it and then when arriving make sure you really, really like the site before you set up.
3. When going on a pontoon boat never let Walt drive because if you do you will surely get wet.
4. Always bring your camera even if it is a trip to the washrooms, you never know what you might see.
5. Never assume that the stick on road is really a stick.
6. Always let Debbie go out first to find the fire ant hills because they do like her.
7. Always bring a bag when going for a walk on the beach because Debbie does like her treasures.
8. When pushing off a dock never push with a sore leg because it could leave you hanging.
9. All wood is not created equal…the stuff in Florida does not burn, how do they have forest fires.
10. Shopping with Walter is certainly an experience because no matter what he is buying there is a deal to be had. (Free bubblegum anyone.)
11. It’s such a small world…Windsor and Waterloo.
12. Always check and make sure your have heat before leaving for home.

Our new site is 116
No new pictures as of yet but they will be coming next time when we come into town at Burger King
Our Adventures on the pontoon boat
lesson no. 1 - do not hit a wave straight on you must take the waves at the side
lesson no. 2 - when beaching a pontoon boat all forms of human life must be at the rear of the boat because the sudden stop will launch you off the boat and then always remember the tide does go down
lesson no. 3 - check on the weather .... high winds create high waves and high waves create pontoon boat to be very unstable and then its called hang on to your ass but we did have fun
This is a picture of the gang on Shell Island
This is a picture of Rod before he fell off the boat

HOMOSASSA WILDLIFE STATE PARK
This park is amazing $9.00 each... we first had a boat ride over to the park but really saw nothing of importance. Arriving in the park ... most of the birds there are injured and can't be released but some just fly in to visit the other birds. The underground observatory was fantastic ... I have never saw so many fish in my life WOW.

These Great Blue Heron where on their nest up in a tree ... your eyes constantly looking for the wildlife everywhere. The boat ride home we did see a couple of alligators with some turtles sunning themselves. I just loved the manatees and this lady fed them by hand ... so gentle.

Dwayne and Judy's site ... our Ontario friends... Rod use to work with Dwayne at Chryslers
Carol and Al from Bayfield stopped in for a couple of days
Our friendly "Pocket Gopher" ... he kept making holes and piles of dirt in our lot
Well we have learned something very important about motorhoming; always hide a key outside since you never know when someone might lock you out. Thank goodness Rod forgot to latch the bedroom window (of course that is the highest window to get into) ... as I had to climb the ladder and do a summersault onto our bed and then do some thinking ... "do I really want these people in"
